Kelli has won national attention as the witty, down-to-earth designer on HGTV’s, Takeover My Makeover, TLC’s, Clean Sweep, and Bravo’s, Real Housewives of Orange County. For the past 5 years we’ve been watching Kelli transform homes into havens. In addition to TV, Kelli is a contributing author to Celebuzz.com, Beautyforever.org, and Cosmopolitan Magazine, in addition to many other online specialty magazines. Luxe Magazine chose Kelli for the “Editor Picks for Top Ten Designers” in 2008. Also in 2008, Kelli addressed industry masses at the Las Vegas Furniture Market and was a featured Reporter for Orange County‘s only network, KDOC.
In 2009, Kelli is an Interior Expert and Design Psychologist in two new movies, “The Compass” (International Documentary) and “Riches” (UK Documentary). Both creating an international buzz with their books and DVD distributions.
I attended a captivating lecture hosted by Kelli Ellis of HGTV and TLC about ways to create a more comfortable shopping environment for your customers. She spoke solidly about the new trend of “do it yourselfers” and the educated customer. She gave me great insight on how to better serve and support both my clients and customers. Kelli reminded me that shoppers come in well prepared and armed with information on the products they want to purchase. “It just makes me need to be a better store owner”, I thought to myself.
